My "job"...

So since I still don't have any hours at my job, I have been applying to other ones and haven't been getting any call backs yet. :( No one is hiring right now and it sorta sucks. I am already really behind on my hours. I don't know how I'll make 500 by the end of the year.

At my "job"...

Last week, all the Berripoppers's hours were cut. Mine too. So now, I have ZERO hours for the next two weeks even though I am really behind in my hours for co-op. This sucks. I need to get a new job FAST.

Last week at Berripop...

The business was super slow! No one is coming in so work has been a bit lame, but thats okay. I hope to soon move into a new job and hopefully be able to make up the hours that I haven' t done yet. I should be applying to more places of work but many of them (who are hiring) seem boring. I think I will apply to a couple more places though. I might even want to work two jobs next semester... We'll  see.

Last week on my job...

We had a normal week. It was a bit slow though. Our store hasn't been getting enough businesss since its starting to get colder ouside. ALSO, I'm not getting enough hours so I need to keep applying to other places for a job. Maybe if I have two jobs then I could be able to make up all the hours I've missed. Other than that, everything has been pretty easy.

This past week...

My job has been crazy. I just finished training and was put into actual work on Friday. I'm pretty sure that I am terrible at this job. I have never messed up so many things at once ever before in my entire life and I don't think one of the managers likes me very much because I ask him a lot of questions...but I can't help that. I think the training was too short because I don't know much about my job. I think I may need to find something else...soon!

This week at Berripop:

Last week, I had my interview at Berripop and I got the job! Yay! After that, I didn't do anything else with Berripop that week... So, I'm going to talk about this week. On monday, I went in for my first training session. It was only two hors long and the only thing we worked on was swirling the yogurt. I sucked. I couldn''t do it! Then yesterday, when I went in for my second day of training, I got the swirl down on the first try! Wooh! I was so happy and my manager was so proud he said he wanted to take a picture of the yogurt I swirled because it looked so good. :) I also have training today from 2pm-4pm

This past week...

I was searching and applying for more and more jobs when I came across a new email. It was from Berripop. I had applied there the week before and they had finally emailed me back. Yay! I was so excited when I  read that they wanted me to come in for an interview on Wednesday, September 7th. (Thats tomorrow!) I hope they like me and I can be working this new job by the end of the week. I also hope that the job I will be doing will be fun...or else my affternoons will be miserable.

Job Searching...

So far, my search for a job has been a bit stressful. I have searched online, (using things such as snagajob, jobs.com, and groovejob) for the past two weeks and many places only want people who are at least eighteen years old or those with a high school diploma. This means I can't apply right now. But, today I plan on walking in to some business offices around where I live and asking them directly if they want or need any extra help. I feel like this is a bold move, but it just might work and I really hope it does because I think it would look really good on my resume to have worked in a business office when I try to apply for real jobs after college. Also, since I want to major in either Business or Psychology at the University of Houston, I think the best places for me to work would be in an office of either of those types of businesses. For now though, I just want to find a job before the time limit is up! I don't want to go back to seven classes!
